Last Day in Boulder!

Just yesterday I was sitting in the Chilean consulate in Los Angles wait to receive my visa. And guess what!? I GOT IT!!! I was not the only one in there who was getting the visa last minute. One lady was leaving that night!! Another lady was leaving today or tomorrow and had the exact same problems with the FBI report that I had. It was good sitting in the consulate talking to people because 1) now i know that I am not alone in this last-minute visa thing and 2) I got to hear about peoples experiences in Chile. One Lady lived in Chile last year and talked about the buses being great, and gave us some hints about how to act once getting to Santiago.
In other recent news I am done with my online class and should be receiving my grades soon. I also got back my ACT test scores back and I did better then I was expecting! I got a 27!!
Today I went cross country skiing with my parents to spend time with them before i leave tomorrow. I hope I am not sore tomorrow....

Travel frenzy and visa drama.

Dear any one reading this blog thus far,

I am in Los Angles right now. I went to the Chilean Embassy today. Failed in receiving any form of visa but succeeded in getting a meeting time with señora Fernando!!! 1:00 monday. I was planning on flying back friday morning though. so this means that my mother and I are flying out tomorrow and then I will be flying back to LA by myself to get the visa at 1:00 on monday. Oh, and by the way I am leaving Boulder for 5+ months that Wednesday. It is becoming a little too "last-minute" for comfort.

I will get it though!!
