life w/ internet

March 3rd 11:20PM
I am falling asleep as I write so this will be short. This morning we went to a fería which is very simular to the Farmer's Market but with clothes, books and otras cosas. Mi mamá dice que she likes to bye fruits and veggies at the fería because they are cheeper and better then in the supermarket.

oh and I will include a photo of the world's largest zanahorias.
We also had the wackiest drink. I forget what it is called. I'll have to get that name later. Just remember AFS students: it's not good, it's not bad, just different. It's called Mote con huesillo. The mote is this rice-corn thing and the huesillo is a big prune looking thing that I didn't end up trying because I had no idea how to eat it w/o spilling...

At the market I felt like everyone was looking @ me. One fruit vendor couldn't stop looking @ me and the person working w/ her (who was dark brown and as my host mom said feo) was joking that we were twins.
I hope I get tan quickily so I'm not quite as rubia.

The internet now works. YAY! Que magnifico! But la red is really boring. Yes truely. Life is so much more exciting. I am not doing anything tonight but going to bed early but tomorrow we might have some of Sebastian's friends over. I showed Sebastian the Culture Shock book that I red before coming here and he could not stop laughing as he read the section about pronounciation. He said that this section is the most important thing to study.

Speaking of studies here is my uniform. yippie!

Tomorrow We will be going to school to pick up books or soemthing. I'm not quite sure b/c I do not know what classes I am taking yet...
