Viña:
Defiantly one of the most beautiful beach towns out there. I took the bus friday morning to the station in Viña, which was an easy $6 dollar, 2 hour trip and met up Maddie, another excahnge student from the US. After walking around and dropping off my stuff we ment up with more and more AFS-ers until there was 8 of us. When it was just four of us we watched the second half of the game against Spain, wich we lost, in a resturant with completos (hotdogs). We went to Maddie's house at about 7, went out for dinner and walked along the beach a bit. When we got back to her house we just talked for hours (unfortunatly in english).
In the morning we packed up and i went to get a piercing and Viki got a tiny tattoo. Viki, Hapftnor and I then took a bus back to santiago where viki went to Las Condes and Hapftnor and I came back to my house to get ready for Daniel's good-bye party.
Despedida:
There isn't too much to say about this. just that i had a great time! Both my friends from AFS and school were there so i did not have even one second where i didn't know what to do. I slept over and in the morning we had breakfast and then i took the bus home.
Partidos:
well we lost the game against Spain but we still managed to classify into the next round so Monday we played against Brazil. We had asado at my house. Unfourtunatly a piece of coal jumped from the fire and hit my dad in the eye. LUCKILY he closed it in time that it didn't get inside but still, now he has pain and a black line on his eyelid.
GREAT WEEKEND! (it also lasted 4 days... maybe thats why)
